A poem decicated

to someone that I've lost a long time ago. Letting go has been hard.

it’s been years,

since you’ve been gone...

but sometimes my heart still aches for you,

for your tender words, for that warm smile and,

for the flutter of your eyelashes.

and,

it’s been years,

since i’ve moved on...

but i will always have a special place in me,

for your love,

for the purity of your soul and,

for the movies we watched over the summer.

my darling,

the universe took you away from this world but,

only over my dead body

will it ever take you away from my heart.
